U District Chow Down & Street Party

The U District celebrates the end of summer with a neighborhood-wide food walk and street party celebration. Find affordable small bites at over 70 participating businesses to give you a true taste of the U District as you enjoy ice cream, noodle, bubble tea, fried chicken, sliders, pretzels, and more! Dance along to live music and entertainment with an outdoor stage on the Ave!

Cherry Blossom Festival

Over 70 local U Districts will be serving up unique cherry-inspired bites, drinks and specials to celebrate the Cherry Blossom Festival. This promotion coincides with the University of Washington’s world-renowned cherry blossom bloom in late March on the UW Quad, a tradition that brings people from all over the region.

The U District is Seattle’s destination for Boba, or Bubble Tea! This April, Seattle Boba Fest will return to the U District with over 25 bubble tea restaurants who will be ready to delight your taste buds or simply teach you ‘how to Boba’.

Now celebrating its 52nd year, the U District Street Fair is the longest running festival of its kind in the nation. Each May, this tradition kicks off the festival season by closing down the Ave to bring makers, artists, food vendors, bands and to highlight the unique small businesses of the U District.
